NO POSTERS ABOUT THIS OPERATION. This needs to be disseminated in a way that can't be traced to us.
Phase 1: Post info about this bill EVERYWHERE. TumbIr-tans, this is your first mission. This is not about the states, this is about the entire internet. Make this viral as shit. Get the entire internet talking.
Phase 2: Get the right wing media involved. Contact Glen Beck saying how concerned you are that the government has seen fit to take away our freedoms. Rage about how this is just another perfect example of dems loving big government.
Phase 3: Get the left involved. Contact Keith Oberman. Say how it's such a shame that the Republicans keep wanting to control every aspect of our lives, etc. Use your own judgement.
The trick here is to get both the left and the right arguing about who's idea this all was. Make both extremes distance themselves. Make it seem as though this will cripple anyone's re-election chances.
Phase 4: Second wave of social media. Point out how it's a shame that after this passes it's only a matter of time before porn is taken off the internet. That'll get the public involved.
Phase 5: Second wave of senatorial contact. Make it clear *POLITELY* that any senator who supports this will not be getting re-elected.
If all five phases are done, IN ORDER, even if this does cross the president's desk, he won't be able to sign it lest he fuck up his re-election chances. Remember. This is an UNDERGROUND op. No fucking anon posters. We can't let this be traced to us.
Disseminate the information quickly. Post fliers IRL. We need to act swiftly and decisively.

COICA The COICA Internet Censorship and Copyright Bill
The "Combating Online Infringements and Counterfeits Act" (COICA) is an Internet censorship bill which is rapidly making its way through the Senate. Although it is ostensibly focused on copyright infringement, an enormous amount of noninfringing content, including political and other speech, could disappear off the Web if it passes.
The main mechanism of the bill is to interfere with the Internet's domain name system (DNS), which translates names like "www.eff.org" or "www.nytimes.com" into the IP addresses that computers use to communicate. The bill creates a blacklist of censored domains; the Attorney General can ask a court to place any website on the blacklist if infringement is "central" to the purpose of the site.
If this bill passes, the list of targets could conceivably include hosting websites such as Dropbox, MediaFire and Rapidshare; MP3 blogs and mashup/remix music sites like SoundCloud, MashupTown and Hype Machine ; and sites that discuss and make the controversial political and intellectual case for piracy, like pirate-party.us, p2pnet, InfoAnarchy, Slyck and ZeroPaid . Indeed, had this bill been passed five or ten years ago, YouTube might not exist today. In other words, the collateral damage from this legislation would be enormous. (Why would all these sites be targets?
